Too much and Too Little

One of my favorite episodes of Gilmore Girls is a Thanksgiving one from season … 3? Lorelai and Rory end up committing to 4 Thanksgiving dinners, and when trying to back out of one, Lorelai gives her reason as, “Too many commitments, too little us.”

Which is what I’m now saying to you, my wonderful blog readers. You’ve all be nice enough to indulge my semi-regular complaining of too many commitments. After much debating, waffling, debating some more, I’ve decided to no longer blog daily(ish) on here. With blogging 3-5 times a week on here, 3-4 times a week on Go Teen Writers and twice a month on Girls, God, and the Good Life, I often have days where I write multiple blog posts. Sometimes, when I knew I was going to be out of town or something, I was preparing four and five at a time. And while I enjoy blogging, I enjoy writing books more.

I’ll still be blogging three times a week on Go Teen Writers and twice a month on Girls, God, and the Good Life. On here, however, I’m cutting back to blogging whenever I have book news to share. If you already receive this blog via e-mail, you’ll continue to do so. (And if you’d like to sign up, click here, and then look on the left side bar for where it says, “Subscribe to Stephanie’s Author Updates.”) So when I have information about my books (new releases, new covers, book signing dates, etc.) I’ll post them here first.

My biggest hesitation in all this has been losing touch with my readers. That’s so important to me. Please don’t hesitate to send me e-mails or stop by Facebook and tell me hi. I love talking to you guys.
